We Just Launched The Nanaimo Bar’s New Website in Downtown Nanaimo
We’re thrilled to announce that The Nanaimo Bar now has a brand new website that matches the energy and vibe of one of downtown Nanaimo’s coolest hangouts.
Located at #2-75 Front Street, The Nanaimo Bar has quickly become a favorite spot for locals and visitors who want great drinks, live music, and that perfect laid-back island atmosphere.

Sonia and the team have a wide variety of drinks that are now visible online, so visitors can now easily browse their full selection of island craft beers, cocktails, top-shelf spirits, and more — all with mouth-watering visuals.

With live-music events that happen weekly, there is now no more wondering what’s on this weekend, or do you want to see someone particular and plan ahead?

Sonia also wanted to advertise her local merch on the website, although there is no online payment, or delivery. It’s there to inform people about the various ways they can rep their favorite bar on a night out, bug her, or the team about it in person to get your Nanaimo Bar merch!
Fast, Mobile-Friendly Design
We know that most people are searching for something to do for a night out on their phone, and are usually away from a desktop . So that’s why the entire site is lightning-fast on phones (where most people discover local bars) and built to convert visitors looking for a night out into real foot traffic through the door.

Clean design makes it easy for either the Island Storm Team or The Nanaimo Bar Team to update menus, events, and hours with ease on their own.
