CHARLOTTETOWN- From the University of North Carolina Charlotte, the Storm is excited to announce the signing of Jailan Haslem.
During his time at Gordon State College, as a sophomore Haslem started all 31 games and averaged 9.7 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. While there he also recorded eight double-doubles and had four games with at least 15 points and 10 rebounds.
His first year at UNCC, Haslem was awarded the 49ers’ Hayward Grubstake Award, which is given to the player who exhibits great effort and determination and saw action in 29 games with 28 starts. Haslem finished his career with the 49ers with two double digit scoring games and seven games where is grabbed at least five rebounds.
Standing tall at 6’10 and 260lbs, the Storm is hoping to see the physical forward solidify the front court for them this season.
